About Dagan Advisory
Practical Business Experience Meets Workforce Funding Support
Dagan Advisory was founded by business owner and operator Shane Dagan, who has spent more than 20 years building and operating businesses in British Columbia.
Shane is the owner of Steveston Seafood House, Richmond’s longest-running restaurant and a long-standing award-winning hospitality business recognized throughout the community for its seafood program and customer experience.
In 2020, Shane launched Mr. Cooper’s Pies, a food manufacturing and distribution company that has grown from a small startup operation into a brand carried in more than 120 retail locations across British Columbia and Alberta.
Through operating and growing these businesses, Shane gained firsthand experience navigating workforce funding programs, hiring incentives, student placements, wage subsidies, and the administrative systems surrounding them.
Many of these programs played a meaningful role in supporting hiring, training, and growth during important stages of the company’s development. Harbour Advisory recognizes and appreciates the role that workforce funding initiatives and delivery organizations can play in helping Canadian businesses create opportunities for students and employees alike.
After managing these processes internally for years, Dagan Advisory was created to help other business owners better understand and navigate similar opportunities without becoming overwhelmed by the administrative burden often involved.
Our approach is practical, organized, and grounded in real-world operational experience — not just theory or consulting language.
We understand the realities business owners face because we operate businesses ourselves.
